Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway (BHMC-C), in conjunction with Arkansas Health Group (AHG) and the Baptist Health Surgical Clinic of Central Arkansas (BHSCCA), is seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon to join an established, growing group. The recruitment need is due to the impending departure of one of the surgeons in 2021.
BHMC-C is a 111-bed, Level III hospital that opened in September 2016. There are eight operating rooms and a da Vinci Xi surgical system. There are three anesthesiologists that cover the hospital, along with eight CRNAs.
In 2020 there were over 4500 surgical cases performed at the hospital of which 600 of those were general surgery cases. Endoscopic and GI cases are readily available. Call will be 1:3.
