About this job

Holzer Health System is seeking an additional BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join our group of 16 outpatient/urgent care Pediatricians, which include MD's, DO's, and NP's, in Gallipolis, Ohio. Locum and/or perm accepted

Practice Details:

7 on 7 off schedule
13 bed Pediatric Unit
Level 1 Nursery - 2 RNs staffed each shift
Babies delivered 35 weeks and up
CYPAP machine in nursery
Daily census in summer: 1-2 (allergy, cellulitis, injuries ie: wounds and breaks)
Daily census in winter: 3-4 (asthma, pneumonia, RSV)
NAS Unit: Keep them on labor/delivery for 5 days, then transfer, but would like to keep them locally
Strong connections with Hoops Family Children's (Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV) and Nationwide Children's in Columbus, Ohio.
EMR: McKesson Paragon (acute) and Athena (clinic)

Compensation package includes:

Two-year guaranteed salary
Sign on bonus
Student loan reimbursement
Early commitment monthly stipend (when signed prior to completion of residency/fellowship program)
CME reimbursement and time off
