The Havener Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at The Ohio State University is a growing practice. We are currently seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in the retina division specializing in Uveitis. This is an open search for tenure or non-tenure track at the Assistant, Associate, or higher commensurate with experience. This individual will be responsible for patient care, research, and education at OSU Wexner Medical Center in the area of Uveitis.

The Havener Eye Institute's primary location is located in the Eye and Ear Institute building which is a state-of-the-art facility that offers an on-site outpatient surgical center. We also have several sites in OSU Multispecialty Office buildings with ASC in metro Columbus. We strive to provide the highest quality of care for our patients with the latest surgical equipment and instrumentation.

 

Qualifications

Applicants must be board-eligible or board certified in Ophthalmology by the time of appointment, and be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio. Qualified candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and have completed an approved residency program in Ophthalmology and fellowship training in Uveitis. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Knowledge and proficiency in medical and surgical management of Uveitis. Demonstrated interest in scholarship and discovery by evidence of basic and/or clinical applied research and publications. Commitment to resident, fellow, and medical student education is required.
