Candidates specializing in research focused on underserved or minority populations are encouraged to apply.

The Division of Health Services Research in the Department of Neurology at OSU has a funded fellowship position for 1-2 years. See our website for more information about the division and program. We are committed to efforts to optimize the health outcomes and well-being of people with neurological symptoms and disease. Candidates should have an interest in research that aims to better understand health and health care delivery and to develop, evaluate, and implement interventions to improve both health and societal outcomes. Our group has experience in a variety of research methods including complex analyses of secondary data, development and evaluation of decision support tools, qualitative data acquisition and analyses, and randomized health services research clinical trials.

Fellows will collaborate closely with co-directors, Kerber and Burke to design and execute research projects related to HSR with a goal of developing as an independent investigator. During the fellowship period, fellows would have the opportunity to participate in a variety of didactic activities focused on expanding their HSR skills, including participation in the Ohio State Clinical Scholars Program.
