Physician - Outpatient Family Medicine - Optional OB - Full/Part-time (Minneapolis MN area)

Hennepin Healthcare (HHS) has opportunities for full-time (or less-than-fulltime) outpatient Family Medicine Physicians to care for patients at our clinic in Golden Valley, MN (a suburb located just west of downtown Minneapolis).  Our Golden Valley Clinic offers primary care as well as a handful of specialty and integrative health services. This clinic affords providers the opportunity to fulfill the core mission of Hennepin Healthcare in a slightly more suburban setting with patients from a vast array of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds!

Academic appointments commensurate with the University of Minnesota Medical School criteria are available.

Our Family Medicine physicians provide comprehensive services in health promotion, screening, diagnosis and disease management at 7 clinic locations in Minneapolis and surrounding suburban communities.  Most of our clinics serve an ethnically and economically diverse patient population. We welcome physicians who share our commitment to provide quality patient care that reflects our values of dignity, compassion, cultural respect and service.

• Virtual care, fully integrated EMR (EPIC and Care Everywhere)
• Infrastructure includes clinical support for primary care providers including lab services, pharmacy, radiology, behavioral health, diabetes educator, social work, community health workers,

• Opportunities to practice full spectrum Family Medicine

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Minnesota or be eligible for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine 
  • If Board Eligible, must be Board Certified within 4 years from the date of completion of the applicable residency, fellowship or training program
• Current DEA Certificate or be eligible for certificate

Positions at Hennepin Healthcare are credentialed through the Office of the Medical Staff in accordance with its policies.
