We specialize in creating delicious egg free baked goods made with fresh and premium ingredients. Shubh Kitchen offers exquisite handcrafted custom designed cakes for local Boston area customers and also wholesale to specialty grocery stores in Massachusetts.

Full Job Description –

We are a small business and looking for someone who is enthusiastic about everything with baking! No job is too small or too big. We are looking to fill a baker at our kitchen baking facility in Natick! We need hands on commercial baking experience, but will train a motivated candidate. In this role you will prep, bake and pack cookies, cakes etc.

Baker Duties and Responsibilities -

·      Learn to measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients, following established recipes and quality standards.·      Ensure the consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods.

·      Packing and labelling all the products as per the company policies.

·      Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area.

·      Ensure food surfaces and baking equipment are clean and meet all health and safety standards.

·      Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and tools.

Requirements:

·      Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred.

·      Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment preferred.

·      Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately.

·      Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

·      A passion for creating high-quality baked goods.

Other Requirements :

·      High school degree or equivalent.

·      Previous baking experience and or professional schooling/certification preferred.

·      Good communication skills. Possess a strong work ethic, be well-organized and positive

·      Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

·      Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

·      Physical endurance to stand for most of shift.

·      Self-motivated and self-directed.

·      Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.

·      Physically able to move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more.

·      Knowledge of sanitation procedures, and state health and safety precautions and regulations.

·      3 day paid review period.

Job Type: Part-time

Starting pay $15/hour

Pay : $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
