Part Time Art Instructor, East Brunswick NJ - Now Hiring!

Teachers Wanted – Inspire Kids Through Art. Love Kids? Love Art? Teach Young Rembrandts (YR)! YR combines our love of art and children, to teach, empower and build confidence that goes beyond art. We teach children how to draw, using our unique and proven method, while instilling a love of art and lifelong skills that lead to overall personal success. We are now hiring energetic, enthusiastic, mature individuals to join our team of talented instructors!

We have openings in East Brunswick New Jersey 08816. Our 60-minute drawing classes take place immediately after school at partnering schools. We provide a training program, the curriculum, the necessary teaching supplies AND the students as well as ongoing support.
Perfect for a retired or substitute teacher, paraeducator, art instructor, elementary educator. This is a minimal part-time position for teaching a one-hour class (one per day), 1-3 days a week. Classes are held Monday-Friday, starting on sites between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm (no weekends). Experience teaching a group of children is required, art background preferred. We will train qualified individuals. Curriculum and materials are provided.

Young Rembrandts Program works in partnership with schools. Runs classes in elementary schools and community centers. Teaches fundamentals of drawing. Introduces students to art vocabulary. Provides a positive, nurturing environment. Develops learning skills, patience, focus and attention to detail. Is a turnkey operation (everything is provided for you).

Young Rembrandts Instructors are provided with all lesson plans and supplies. Trained in the Young Rembrandts’ method. Earns $25 per class.

Requirements:
•	Must love children.
•	Owns a personal vehicle.
•	Holds valid driver’s license.
•	Has proof of auto insurance.
•	Able and willing to drive themselves to one or more teaching location in 08536, 08810, 08816 zip codes. 
•	At least 1-year relevant experience preferred.
•	Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required.
•	Attends a mandatory monthly meeting that is held with their fellow instructors.

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $25.00 /hour

REQUIRED SKILLS:
•	Must love children. 
•	Has experience supervising groups of children ages 4-12 years.
•	Coaching / teaching experience desired. 
•	Has own vehicle for transportation.
•	Must be able and willing to drive themselves to one or more teaching locations. 
•	All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks (required).

YOUNG REMBRANDTS' EMPLOYEES: 
•	are paid $25 per 1-hour class 
•	attends paid staff meetings.
•	teaches on average 1-2 classes per week.
•	receives bonus compensation for additional classes and time spent on excessive travel.
