Part Time Art Instructor, Flemington NJ

Young Rembrandts is an award winning after-school art enrichment program growing with additional classes added for spring and summer. Young Rembrandts of Central NJ is looking for art enthusiastic individuals in the greater Flemington / Clinton area who are available to teach after school and during the summer months. We need to find hire and train new staff! We will train newly qualified instructors in the Young Rembrandts' methodology and teaching techniques. 

The ideal person is available between 2 pm and 5 pm once a week for an after-school class and either mornings (8:30 am – noon), afternoons (12:30 – 4 pm) or both during the months of July and August for summer camp.
Seeking instructors for teaching at site locations that host after school or summer camps situated within a 30-minute drive from Clinton (08809) Lebanon (08833) and Flemington (08822). 

Using our proven step-by-step drawing methods, our curriculum and supplies the qualified person will coach children through pre-planned drawing lessons in classes that are offered in public and private schools and community centers. Before entering the classroom, we provide a training program, all materials plus the necessary teaching supplies AND students, as well as ongoing support.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•	Must be able to draw and has teaching experience.
•	Is available a minimum of once per week after 2pm to teach.
 •	Is available M-F mornings or afternoons for 5 consecutive days in the months of July and August.
•	Can follow a structured instructional lesson plan.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•	Must love children. 
•	Has experience supervising groups of children ages 4-12 years.
•	Coaching / teaching experience desired. 
•	Has own vehicle for transportation.
•	Must be able and willing to drive themselves to one or more teaching locations. 
•	All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks (required).

YOUNG REMBRANDTS' EMPLOYEES:
 
•	Are paid $25 per 1-hour class 
•	Attend paid staff meetings.
•	Teaches on average 1-2 classes per week.
