Description

Are you a meticulous individual with a knack for numbers? Do you excel at coordinating teams and optimizing processes? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable team and managing various financial functions, including A/R, credit review and approval, and bad debt reserve analysis. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will be crucial in preparing accurate general ledger account analyses and supporting the monthly financial reporting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the accounts receivable staff, stepping in as needed.
  • Exercise your expertise in approving customer credit limits, ensuring a balanced approach.
  • Streamline workflow and prioritize team responsibilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Thoroughly review all processed invoices and credit memos, ensuring their accuracy and timely processing.
  • Monitor customer accounts for any past due invoices and collaborate with shops, sales, and project managers to facilitate prompt payments.
  • Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Share accounts receivable aging reports and key performance indicators with the Operations and Finance teams on a monthly basis.


Qualifications:

  • While a degree in accounting is preferred, equivalent years of experience in the field will also be considered.
  • Possession of a driver's license is not mandatory but could be advantageous as a backup for mail-related tasks.

Skills and Proficiencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook email is essential.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus, though not a strict requirement.
  • Familiarity with various office machines such as copiers, fax machines, and scanners.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English are a must.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to perform calculations, compute percentages, and work with spreadsheets.
