Part Time Office Assistant

The physician office of Jeffrey P. Andreini, M.D. located in Oshkosh is looking for an experienced part time office assistant to join our team.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities while maintaining accuracy.

- Possess time management and organizational skills.

- Preferably have previous experience in the medical field in an office or hospital setting, or other relevant experience.

- Must have previous business telephone communications experience/office setting experience.

- Basic understanding of insurance company processes.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude.

- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient interactions/records and adhere to all government mandates our practice follows.

- Ability to work with and learn various medical software and other computer applications including Word.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Filing of patient information, prepare all chart items and daily schedule requirements.

- In person and telephone customer service in a professional and friendly manner.

- Schedule and register patients and maintain accurate and updated patient information.

- Perform receptionist duties when that employee is not in the office.

- Backup other positions in the office as needed.

Hours and Benefits:

- This is a part-time position offering between 20 – 25 hours per week. Approximate hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs: 11:30 – 4:00, Weds: 11:30 – 3:00, Fri: 8:30 – 12:30.
