Position Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Perry, NY Facility

Reports to: Operations Manager

Department: Retail

Terms: Full-Time; Some overtime may be required

Classification: Hourly; Non-Exempt

Position Summary: The Customer Service Representative will provide excellent customer service and support to our customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Opens and manages Retail & Farm Store which includes answering phone, scheduling appointments, processing payments or returns.
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
• Addressing customers’ questions about products and services.
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the showroom.
• Provides project support to President and Operations Manager as requested.
• Additional job-related duties as assigned.

• Answer telephones efficiently and professionally to schedule appointments and answer customer inquiries.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work in a very fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Self-started who requires little direction.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position required.

• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.

• Experience working in a service industry environment preferred.
• High School Diploma.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during the day.
• Regularly use hands to reach; ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
