Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to one attorney.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research to support legal proceedings
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Record and store client information
Conduct Initial interviews with potential clients
Help keep the firm's calendar updated

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a paralegal or legal secretary, paralegal certificate a plus
Familiar with family law, probate, estate planning, real estate, guardianships
Familiar with legal research
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Familiar with software utilized - mycase; Square; Westlaw; Office 365
Good work ethic
