The Havener Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at The Ohio State University is a growing practice. We are currently seeking applicants for a full-time clinician faculty position in the subspecialty area of Oculoplastic Surgery. This is an open search for tenure or non-tenure track at the Assistant Professor level or higher, commensurate with experience. Faculty candidates will be responsible for patient care, research, and education primarily in our OSU multi-specialty medical office buildings and surgical suites in the metro Columbus area. Participation in coverage at Columbus VA is also required.

The Havener Eye Institute has its primary location in the Eye and Ear Institute building near campus. We have newly constructed state-of-the-art facilities that include on-site outpatient surgical centers. REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be board-eligible or board certified in Ophthalmology by the time of appointment, and be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio. Qualified candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and have completed an approved residency program in Ophthalmology. Subspecialty training in an ASOPRS-approved fellowship or membership in ASOPRS is required. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Knowledge and proficiency in medical and surgical management in the area of subspecialty, demonstrated interest in scholarship and discovery by evidence of basic and/or clinical applied research and publications, and commitment to resident, fellow, and medical student education is required.
