Mercyhealth is seeking a BC/BE Full Time Associate EMS Medical Director - EMS Physician to join our award-winning fully integrated health care delivery system in Rockford IL.

Opportunity Details:

• Join a well-established, Emergency Medicine/EMS team!
• This full-time opportunity is employed via W2 and benefits eligible.
• Level One Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Center Accredited!
• Must be EM Residency trained; EMS Fellowship preferred or similar EMS field experience.
• ABEM or AOBEM board eligible or certified.
• Active IL and WI Medical licenses required.
• Ten 24-hour EMS Field Response Call Shifts per month must live locally within response area
• Take home emergency response vehicle with field emergency response requirement
• Five 10 hour ED shifts per month.
• Associate Medical Director duties include; Protocol development, run reviews, quality assurance, accredited primary education, and Operations. >40 EMS agencies with tactical, helicopter, critical care, and special operation opportunities
