**Located in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Status: Full-Time
Reports to: Director of Operations
Direct Reports: Cooks, Cashiers, Hourly Managers

Essential Responsibilities:
Hire, train, develop and coach hourly team members
Ongoing training and development of our management team and build a bench for future managers
Ensure that Earl of Sandwich culture is strong within the restaurant and personified by the team
Maintains timely schedules and appropriate staffing levels in accordance to Earl of Sandwich labor matrix
Ensures every guest has a SIZZLING experience
Delivers high quality, attractive food made according to Earl of Sandwich recipes
Monitors and controls daily food cost
Follows proper sanitation and cleanliness standards in the restaurant to fulfill health requirements and Earl of Sandwich standards
Reviews and analyzes financial data weekly and initiates necessary actions to increase sales and profits
Responsible for driving local store marketing, fundraising efforts and overall community involvement
Orders inventory on a timely basis to ensure an adequate of product and supplies
Follows all cash handling procedures to minimize all cash shortages. Ensures that cash is deposited into the bank daily
Foster a safe work environment by following safety guidelines
Follow all guidelines and procedures as outlined by Earl of Sandwich
Maintaining proper employee records, and documentation per company standards and federal, state and local ordinances

Education and Training:
High School Diploma
Minimum 2 years’ experience in food service
1+ years leadership experience
Cash handling experience
Food Handler’s Card and ServeSafe certification
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the General Manager is required to use hands repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, walk, grasp firmly/strongly and simply/lightly with hands, and use fine finger dexterity. This employee is frequently required to bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and nick in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, push and/or pull, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, the Shift Leader is required to sit, climb, balance, and/or move over 50 pounds.
This employee is required to work in various temperatures, in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust, or toxic chemicals.
