Job Description
Title: Part-time Reception/Events Assistant
Position Focus
We are seeking two part-time Receptionists to support our Residential Front Desk to work days/nights/weekends. Responsibilities include residents’ support; marketing and in-person events’ support. In order to do this role properly, you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite; show initiative in identifying and solving problems efficiently; have experience in the hospitality industry.
Essential Responsibilities
· Assist with front desk operations, which include interacting with residents and visitors; answering and directing all correspondence; organizing and maintaining our office filing system.
· Act as a point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
· Excellent MS Office knowledge
· Outstanding organizational and time management skills
· Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (i.e., e-calendars and copy machines)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Discretion and confidentiality
· Greeting visitors and controlling their interactions with clients and executives
· Opening, sorting and distributing incoming faxes, emails and other correspondence in a timely and accurate manner
· Provide general administrative support
· Assist our marketing and events team during the setup and breakdown of events; monitor the delivery of equipment.
· Front desk: Monday-Thursday, 8am-8pm; Friday, 8am-9pm; Saturday, 9am-9pm; Sunday, 9am-6pm | On-demand event coordination: as needed. This schedule will be divided among several assistants, so each should expect to work 20+ hours per week.
· Hourly wage: $20.00/hour

Position Qualifications
Education/Formal Training
A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience
Experience
Required to have a minimum of 1-year experience in an office assistant position and/or hospitality.
Knowledge/Skills
· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
· Professional appearance and manner
· Computer literacy, specifically MS Word for Windows
· Time management and organization skills
