Job Description
Provide immediate medical attention to employees who receive a work-related injury and direct their care to an outside medical facility as necessary.
Manage the medical care an employee receives, throughout the rehabilitation process, until the employee is released from medical care, promoting the employees return to modified duty versus lost time and maintaining comprehensive nurses’ notes.
Provide onsite treatment for soft tissue injuries
Establish a positive relationship with medical providers utilized by injured employees
Meet with people department representative to review status of employees who are under continuing medical care for a work-related incident.
Conduct and document an annual ergonomic assessment on all employees who perform repetitive task. Follow protocol on all positive ergonomic assessments
Assist with the company’s drug and alcohol testing program including all testing requirements collection facility and medical review officer
Meet with employees and supervisors regarding various non-working related injuries, illness and other medically related conditions or concerns
Conduct plant safety observations walk through on a regular basis document issues noted and follow up to ensure their correction
Administration and documentation of vaccinations available to Gold Creek Employees
Scheduling necessary testing or medical follow up for work related testing or evaluations (i.e... hearing or respiratory)
Assist with company wellness program
Perform other duties assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Moderate walking, reaching, bending and twisting of the time. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast pace environment at all times.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. Graduation from accredited nursing program and current license to practice nursing.
VERBAL/WRITTEN SKILLS:
Must be able to read, analyzes and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups managers clients customers and the general public.
Ability to use advanced research skills in order to obtain the information needed to complete tasks
Advanced use of computerized work processing and spreadsheet programs, e-mail and the internet
