Carpenter / Handyman

Clark Builders specializes in residential remodeling in the Columbus area. We are looking for a qualified Carpenter / Handyman to join our team.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Planning and Execution:
  • Perform carpentry and/or other construction skills such as demolition, framing, basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, window / door installation, handyman work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to delegate/complete work activities.
  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget goals.
  • Work and coordinate with different trades throughout the project timeline.
• Professionalism and Leadership:
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and trade partners.
  • Cultivate a professional atmosphere on the jobsite.
  • Be respectful of client's property.
  • Maintain a neat appearance.
  • Be self-motivated to solve problems and be willing to learn.
  • Maintain accountability and consistency.
  • Participate in the onboarding and training of various crew members.
• Safety and Quality:
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean jobsite.
  • Maintain and care for equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of remodeling experience.
• General knowledge of International Residential Building Codes.
• Tools required: basic hand tools, power tools (drills, saws, nail guns, compressors, etc.).
• Reliable vehicle able to transport tools and supplies.
