CNC Machine Operator

This role is based in Macungie, PA, can you reliably commute here?

We are looking for a skilled CNC machine operator to fabricate products in our Metal Works Department.

Products include control boxes, amplifiers, and power supply chassis made with sheet metal and manufactured to established order specifications.

• Must be experienced with a CNC hydraulic brake press. Experience with metalwork-related lathe or milling machines, press brake, turret punch press, and shear machines is a plus.
• The position requires the ability to use hand tools; read blueprints; utilize measuring devices and possess strong basic math skills.
• Flexibility in job assignments. Cross-training in secondary operations or related machines can be required.
• Ability to read technical drawings with attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and high-quality control standards are required to adjust for maintaining proper tolerances.
• Organized and detailed record keeping of set-ups.

Physical Requirements:

• The operator must sit, stand, and bend during the shift.
• Good visual acuity is required.
• Must be able to perform lifting to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and occasional heavier lifting, with assistance up to 150 lbs.
• Personal protective equipment is required to be worn while operating machinery and the operator must follow all established safety rules.

Experience/Requirements:

• The position requires a machine operating aptitude with some past work experience operating CNC machines or completion of a vocational-technical school training program.
