Baker Part Time

Mrs. Jo's Petite Eats Patisserie and Cafe is a corporate cafe located in the PenFed and LMI headquarters in Tysons, VA. We provide southern cuisine with a French Flair. We strive for excellence in everything we do!

We are seeking an experienced Barista and cashier to help serve our customers, make drinks to their specifications, and deliver superior customer service for every transaction!

$19 per hour

M-Thursday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Sign On Bonus

$300 after 60 days of successful employment

• Ensure profitability by maintaining an accurate record of baking operations.
•  Manage needed supplies and inventory levels.
•  Decorate baked products using glaze, icing and other toppings to achieve a finished appearance.
• Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
• Conduct research to develop original recipes for products.
• Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment
• Operate equipment (e.g., knives, box cutter and pricing gun) according to company guidelines.
• Effectively communicate with customers and respond to questions and requests in a timely manner.
• Proof, bake, glaze, top, and thaw product in accordance with SOPs.

Qualified Candidates Have:

HS Diploma
2 years experience
Willing to learn and work as a team player
Ability to remain calm and organized in a high-volume environment
Strong communication skills, organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Candidate should demonstrate an energetic and friendly personality
Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift

Preferably be able to communicate in English
