Job Description:
We are looking for three second shift and two third shift Electronics Assemblers in our Allentown PA location. Position requires familiarity with circuit boards and electronic components as well as soldering methods and tools.
2nd Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM
3rd Shift: 11:00PM - 7:30AM
Hand assembly
Ability to read prints and data sheets understanding directions of parts and component sizes.
Work with heat plates and soldering irons.
Must be able to sit most of the day.
Must have very good attention to details.
Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures. knowledge of IPC-610 standards.
Support and follow workmanship standards related to the company's Quality management system.
Train and assist new operators.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Basic computer skills such as emailing and file storage and retrieval.
- Must be able to work under a microscope.
- Experience in an electronics manufacturing setting a plus.
- Must be a team player.
- Good communication skills required.
- Good soldering skills preferred.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to operate a soldering iron is required.
- Must be able to multitask to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to sit for 8-10 hours.
- Must be able to lift to 20 pounds.
- Knowledge of IPC-J-STD-001 is a preferred.
- IPC certificate a plus.
- Good reading and math skills required.
Qualifications:

- Good soldering skills are preferred (but will train the right candidate)
- Must be a team player
