Warehouse Material Handler (Punta Gorda) - Now Hiring

Florida Building Supplies is seeking a motivated Warehouse Material Handler and Delivery Assistant to join its team.

Specific duties may include:
•Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse
•Unloading/receiving deliveries
•Pulling and staging orders for delivery truck
•Checking all packages for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
•Operating forklifts is a plus
•Performing all duties safely
•Assisting on route deliveries; unloading material packages at the jobsite.

Specific qualifications include:
•Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
•Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently
•Ability to stand, bend, twist and reach throughout complete shift
•Positive demeanor and team player
• Starting wage is $16.00 per hour w/ overtime as necessary / Wage will have incremental increases based on performance
•This is year-round work, and you will need to work overtime as necessary

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• Own a personal vehicle
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 100+ lbs
• Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
