Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Essential Functions:

• Able to work night shift and labor hours as required (10+ hours - 7:30p - 6:00a)
• Set up and maintain production equipment and machinery in all parts of the plant, ensuring that this equipment functions to specification.  The repair of machine breakdowns occurs on a continuous basis.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems using PLC Technology.
• Implements and performs the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Maintenance of no-production equipment (such as compressors) on an as needed basis.
• Installs new equipment and works on special projects as indicated by the Maintenance Team Leader.
• Communication through work orders as to the detail of work performed and the problem solving required.
• Responsible for mentoring new team members.
• Adhere to and administer company policies/procedures pertaining to their job.
• Actively seeks out areas for improvement and devises/aids in the development of counter measures.
• Responsible for maintaining and supporting IATF6949 and has the responsibility to contact Team Leads and/or stop processes that could ship a non-conforming products.
• Responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s environmental, health, and safety risks of their job, and how their job affects the environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems using PLC Technology.
• Installs new equipment and works on special projects as indicated by the Maintenance Management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Certified Maintenance Training status, or equivalent of approximately four to 10 years prior experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Additional numeral control or computerized numerical control machine experience is desirable along with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience.
