Job Summary
We need you! We are looking for a highly motivated person who is eager to grow professionally with us! We are an emerging company, bringing 1-800-STRIPER to the Pittsburgh, PA area, with lots of opportunities to grow and fill in bigger shoes as the company grows! The Crew Leader operates a variety of equipment used in the application and maintenance of parking lots and other large site jobs. The right candidate will have full responsibly for crew productivity and be a primary equipment operator and driver of one our medium duty box trucks. This position is a Seasonal Full-Time position with ample opportunity for overtime throughout the season. Flexible schedule but must be available nights and weekends. Must be a team player, have attention to detail, and have a positive attitude. Significant opportunities for growth. Commercial Driver or Equipment Operator experience is desirable, a clean driver’s license is mandatory. Background check & references required.
This is a full-time position operating seasonally. Our main season runs from May 1st to November 1st. Hours may be available during the off-season, as warranted. Typical days and hours of work are Sunday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., ~50 hours per week with some flexibility. During peak season weekend work will be required as job duties demand with overtime options.
Job Qualifications
Required
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Background & drug test

Essential Functions

- Operates company vehicle and complies with company and DOT safety procedures.
- Operates heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in parking lot striping.
- Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures. Addresses problems or brings them to the attention of the Operations Manager.
- Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to the Operations Manager; cleans equipment.
- Assists in training lower-level employees performing the maintenance and repair duties as required or assigned.
- Administer technology software.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The position directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to a variety of temperature conditions at job sites. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
