This position is full-time M-F, pay range is $14-17 per hour and includes full benefits (below):

The Production Clerk provides administrative support to the production control office, as well as some assistance to the warehouse and production teams. This role helps file and sort paperwork, performs production scanning, prepares materials, closes out production orders, and utilizes the ERP system for data entry, verification, and retrieval of information.

Example Duties and Activities

  • Performs various clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, sorting, and distributing department paperwork. Utilizes ERP system to process daily work and reports.

  • Completes all daily production scans required in a timely manner and corrects any inaccuracies.

  • Verifies production scan accuracy before closing out production orders.

  • Confirms and posts product receipts.

  • Aids in the return of raw material from the production floor to the warehouse including the reprinting of labels.

  • Prepares materials for the production floor.

  • Mathematical Aptitude - Is able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Computes rate, ratio, and percent and draws and interprets bar graphs; skid counts, carton counts, and computing total quantities.

  • Technical Knowledge - Has proficient knowledge of G Suite and MS Office and a willingness to learn order processing software, i.e. ERP and RF Smart.

Preferred Competencies

  • Industry Expertise - Has worked in a warehouse environment and is knowledgeable of the organization, planning, time management, inventory control, equipment maintenance, teamwork, documentation, and data entry involved.

  • Clerical Professional - Has worked effectively in a front office area assisting with administrative activities. Is adept at answering phones, receiving visitors, scheduling meetings, filing, managing paperwork, handling log books, and distributing mail.

  • Light to Moderate Physical Work - Is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Can manage frequent exposure to moderate noise and frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts.

  • Visual Acuity - Has the ability to adjust focus.

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
