Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all diagnostic radiology and CT procedures. Communicates and works independently in performing all diagnostic radiology and CT procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of the facility. Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with TJC regulations and standards. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Registered technologist with current certification in Radiography (R) and CT by ARRT preferred and CE compliance.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
• Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
• One-year diagnostic experience required. CT experience preferred.
• Solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• Vocational School Graduate
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician, or Computerized Tomography (CT) preferred
