Job Description
M.H. Eby, Inc., a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers & truck bodies, is looking to add mechanics to our service department at our Story City facility. These positions work on both new and used trailers, made by EBY and other manufacturers. Requirements are the proper use of hand tools, tape measures, power tools, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work as a team. Prior experience with trailer maintenance, brakes, electrical, metal fabrication, and systems diagnosis is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
-Full time hours Monday – Friday with guaranteed 50 hours
-Minimum $23.00/hour starting wage – potential for more depending on experience.
-$1000 new hire sign on bonus
-Paid time off available after 90 days of employment
-Tools and protective equipment provided by employer
-Medical & dental insurance eligible after 30 days
-Company paid life & short-term disability insurance eligible after 30 days.
-401k eligible after 90 days.
