Are you an experienced Water Mitigation Technician with IICRC certifications looking for an opportunity to showcase your skills and make a significant impact in the restoration industry? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Water Mitigation Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in responding to water-related emergencies, mitigating damage, and preparing properties to be restored to their pre-loss condition.

 

*** Crew Chief team members earn an hourly wage dependent upon experience, hard work, and commissions for an annual estimated gross wage of $70,000 to $100,000. ***

What You Will Do:

 

  • - Respond to emergency service calls involving water damage, including but not limited to floods, leaks, and sewage backups.
  • - Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and sanitization processes to mitigate and prevent further damage.
  • - Utilize your IICRC certifications and expertise to assess the extent of water damage and develop effective mitigation plans.
  • - Coordinate and communicate with property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to provide clear and transparent updates throughout the mitigation process.
  • - Set up and monitor specialized equipment, such as industrial fans and dehumidifiers, to expedite the drying process.
  • - Document and maintain accurate records of the mitigation process, including before-and-after photos, moisture readings, and equipment usage.
  • - Follow industry best practices, safety guidelines, and company protocols to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • - Assist in packing, moving, and storing contents as needed during the restoration process.
  • - Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete mitigation projects within specified timelines.
  • - Continuously update your knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and equipment to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.

Qualifications:

 

  • - Hard-working, positive, and willing to learn.
  • - IICRC certifications in Water Restoration (WRT) and/or Applied Structural Drying (ASD) are preferred.
  • - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
  • - Previous experience in water damage restoration, including mitigation, drying, and documentation.
  • - Strong understanding of water damage principles, equipment operation, and restoration techniques.
  • - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • - Detail-oriented with the ability to complete thorough documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • - Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand, bend, and perform other physical tasks as required.
  • - Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
