An orthopaedic center is currently seeking to add an X-ray Technologist to join their team full time!Check out the details below:
Title: Orthopaedic X-ray Technologist
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Clinic & Surgery
Location: Pewaukee, WI – possible travel to satellite clinics in Brookfield & Mukwonago
Schedule: M – F (8 am – 5 pm) *subject to change based on doctor’s schedule
Pay: $25/hr - $35/hr, based on experience
The X-ray Technologist’s duties to include but not be limited to:
-Explaining procedures to patients and answering questions
-Preparing equipment for use as needed and examination rooms for patient exams
-Documenting information within EPIC & reporting information to physician
-Work in both the clinical and surgical departments, dependent on imaging needs
-Prepare and maintain ball marker protocols based on physician preference
-Maintain proper shielding for the patient, x-ray technologist, and other staff during the imaging process
-Maintain radiation logs for the State of Wisconsin
-Other job duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (min. 2 year) program
-Possess a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
-Possess a valid, current, unrestricted WI state radiation operator certificate
-Current CPR/AED certification
