Assistant Nurse Manager PACU - Full-time / Part-time

An award-winning teaching hospital in New York is searching for an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager - PACU to join their team!

This acute care facility is home to 400+ beds, an adult/pediatric trauma center, NICU, robotic surgery, oncology, pediatrics, and a family birthing pavilion! This hospital utilizes the latest in technology and evidence-based practices. This facility utilizes a patient first philosophy.

The PACU ANM will Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.

• Requirements: 
• Current registration in New York State as an RN.
• -Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• -BSN required.
• -Specialty Certification (CPAN) preferred.
• -TCAR and NIHSS preferred or within 6 months of hire.
• -Previous PACU experience preferred and/or ICU experience required
• -BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
• -Excellent computer skills required.
