Emergency RN

A wonderful new opportunity has become available for a Emergency RN at an acute care hospital outside of Kirtland, New Mexico. This hospital specifically has 215+ patient beds, as well as a highly recognized Level III Trauma Center providing healthcare for the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. 

This facility has a consistently met goals of ensuring the highest quality patient care in the region while keeping amazing and trustworthy relationships with patients. The Emergency RN will be reporting directly up to the Manager of Emergency Services ensuring that the patient is properly educated and taken care of in each room. They will work alongside 15+ other Emergency RN's to complete each and every task assigned by the Nurse Manager in the ED. 

The Emergency RN carries much responsibility in the ED. The responsibilities may include;

• Checking in on patients often while changing their dressings, administering medication, and monitoring vital signs
• Patient, family, and friends health education and consistent updates 
• Physical assessments of patients to ensure their current state. 
• Work collaboratively with PRN's and CNA's

An active nursing license is crucial to being considered for the Emergency RN opening with this facility, and previous RN experience at a community acute care facility is a plus. It is not necessary to have experience in a night shift prior to applying, but this may be relieving to have.
