Critical Care Nurse

A wonderful new opportunity has become available for a Critical Care Nurse at an acute care hospital outside of Kirtland, New Mexico. This hospital specifically has 215+ patient beds, as well as a highly recognized Level III Trauma Center providing healthcare for the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah.

This facility has a consistently met goals of ensuring the highest quality patient care in the region while keeping amazing and trustworthy relationships with patients. The Critical Care Nurse will be reporting directly up to the Manager of Critical Care Services ensuring that the patient is properly educated and taken care of in each room. They will work alongside 15+ other ICU RN's to complete each and every task assigned by the Supervisor and Nurse Manager of the floor. 

The Critical Care Nurse carries much responsibility in the ICU. The responsibilities may include;

• Checking in on patients often while changing their dressings, administering medication, and monitoring vital signs
• Patient, family, and friends health education and consistent updates 
• Physical assessments of patients to ensure their current state. 
• Work collaboratively with PRN's and CNA's
