Medical Surgical Services Registered Nurse - Full-time

A reputable hospital in Maryland is actively seeking a Medical Surgical Services Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position where the RN Medical Surgical Services will be a direct-hire employee of the health system.

Responsibilities of the RN Medical Surgical Services will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in the Medical Surgical Services department. Additionally, the Medical Surgical Services Registered Nurse will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans. 

Ideally, the Medical Surgical Services nurse will hold or be willing to obtain their Maryland or compact multi-state registered nurses license, and have at least 1 year of direct patient care experience working in an inpatient med-surg, telemetry, or step down unit.
