About this job

A reputable hospital in Maryland is actively seeking a Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position where the RN Critical Care ICU will be a direct-hire employee of the health system.

Join a health system that delivers exceptional inpatient and outpatient services to individuals throughout Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. This health system continues to build, grow, invest in innovation and launch new programs so that patients in the community are able to access high-quality care. The Registered Nurse Critical Care ICU will work for a 325+ bed facility known for both their acute care hospital and rehab center. This award winning hospital continues to be recognized for their high quality scores, patient-centered approach, and commitment to the community.

Responsibilities of the RN Critical Care ICU will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in the Critical Care department. Additionally, the Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans.

Ideally, the Critical Care ICU nurse will hold or be willing to obtain their Maryland or compact multi-state registered nurses license, and have at least 1 year of direct patient care experience working in a Critical Care unit.
