A unique healthcare leadership opportunity is immediately available in the American Southwest for the Mammography Services Assistant Director! The experienced ARRT who specializes in Mammography will be a welcomed leader of this tight-knit team.

Working in collaboration with the Radiology Services Executive Director, the Assistant Director Mammography Department will manage a small team of 11 employees, including the Mammography Supervisor, Patient Navigator, Technicians, and Ultrasound Technicians. The Mammography Services Assistant Director will become responsible for 24/7 direct oversight of the department, handling staffing and scheduling, interviewing and hiring for the department, as well as assisting the Executive Director and Medical Director with departmental budgeting, and developing monthly productivity reports. The Assistant Director will provide their well-developed leadership capabilities to lead the assigned department with regard to the hospital's mission and values.

Requirements for the Mammography Services Assistant Director role include:

  • 6+ years of experience in Mammography Services
  • 2+ years of Radiology Department/Mammography supervisory experience
  • ARRT (M) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Mammography) Certification
  • MRT Medical Radiologic Technologist License
