About this job

A new opportunity for an Emergency Manager has become available at a high accredited critical access hospital outside of Stevens County, Washington. This 30+ bed facility has state-of-the-art technology, as well as some of the most well trained and respectable medical professionals of the area.

The Emergency Manager will report to the Nurse Director of the Emergency department. The Manager will be supported by tenured and experienced ER Nurse Supervisors, as well as an amazing team of Emergency Nursing Charge RNs and CEN Staff Registered Nurses. This person will get to work alongside an outstanding team of Emergency Medicine Physicians, Provider Specialists, and other departmental leaders. At least 5+ years in a similar position including holding a leadership role are very important for consideration of this opportunity.

The Emergency Manager will be responsible for the 24-hour clinical supervision and administrative management of the Emergency Department in accordance with hospital goals and values. They will facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care, and will help lead a competent team of Emergency Charge RNs and other staff by exhibiting excellent leadership and organizational skills. The Nurse Manager will also implement benchmarks for success while mentoring and educating other nursing personnel. 

Located outside of Stevens County, this location is beautiful for someone who is interested in living in a smaller town with beautiful scenery. It is definitely one of the most remote areas of Washington, but also one of the more beautiful as well.
