Staff Accountant

ESD Solar, a dynamic and fast-paced organization with a family-friendly and vibrant workforce, is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. Job Description:

The Staff Accountant/Accounting Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

• Obtaining primary financial data for accounting records
• Creating and following up on customer invoice
• Allocating invoices to specific GL accounts
• Corresponding with customers for payments
• Basic accounting entries in QuickBooks such as recording deposits, and creating invoices for our customers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 3-5 years of workplace experience
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting preferred
• 1 year of project based accounting preferred, with a preference towards construction
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and Excel required
• Familiarity with bill.com, JobNimbus, Gmail, and Google Sheets is a plus

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Work Schedule:

Our general working hours are from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. We understand everyone's situation is slightly different, so there is some flexibility in the schedule. The typical work week is 40 hours, and this is an onsite position.
