The Skilled Nursing Facility Nurse Director will be part of a financially stable Medical Center that has been serving the surrounding communities for more than 80 years. The Skilled Nursing Facility Nurse Director will work in a hospital that has nationally recognized, acclaimed programs and centers of excellence. 

Under the direction of the Vice President of Nursing, the Nurse Director of Skilled Nursing Facility will be responsible for the overall management of the unit including planning, organizing, staffing, coordinating, reporting and budgeting the activities of the unit. The Skilled Nursing Facility Skilled Nursing Facility Nurse Director is responsible for provision of 24 hour patient care services, taking into consideration the age of the patients served: i.e., Adult and Geriatric. 

The Skilled Nursing Facility Nurse Administrator will established operational systems to support the provision of quality patient care, including the management of personnel and fiscal operations, maintenance of unit environment, equipment and supplies. The Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Nurse Director will facilitate effective functioning of the Interdisciplinary Health Team in an environment which supports shared governance and Clinical Practice Model values and beliefs.

This Nurse Director of Skilled Nursing Facility SNF will also be responsible for implementing the mission, vision, policies, goals, and objectives of the organization and the nursing/clinical services within their area(s). The SNF Skilled Nursing Facility Nurse Director will also serve as liaison between rehabilitation nursing to promote the philosophy and goals of the organization, the development of team relationships, and congruent rehabilitation practices.
