Join our team as an evening shift, full-time, Cat Scan (CT) Technologist Lead in Montclair, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the staff schedule to ensure proper coverage in the unit
  • Train, evaluate, and perform competencies on all staff
  • Coordinate with our clinical affiliations and ensure students are receiving sufficient clinical time
  • Manage inventory on a weekly basis
  • Prepare patients for scanning
  • Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered
  • Provide accurate explanations and instructions
  • Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines
  • Monitor the patient’s physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure
  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Three (3) years experience in CT scan
  • Active and current New Jersey State License—NJDEP Radiologic Technologist
  • Maintenance of CEU Credits
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologist (A.R.R.T.) certification
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Applied Science
