Job Description
We are currently seeking a Boutique Leader to join our team at K&B Bridals Takoma Park. Our company is built on core values that include passion for celebrating and serving our brides, professionalism, approachability, teamwork, integrity and honesty, empowerment, and innovation.
Boutique Leaders are the head of our store teams and work within our upper leadership team to drive store success. We are looking for a strong, driven, and experienced leader with exceptional people skills to embody our company culture and display a passion for exemplary service.
Responsibilities for this position include training and coaching of store team members, bi-monthly payroll preparation, ensuring excellence in store appearance, cleaning, and merchandising, overseeing special orders and software account maintenance, and active participation in the company leadership team.
This role was formerly called Boutique Manager, but we felt it important to differentiate between traditional retail management and what leading a K&B Bridals store looks like. Experience leading teams of more than five people is preferred, as well as a love for fashion and style. A strong small business mindset and the ability to lead independently and proactively are also necessary. Experience driving sales, managing expenses/cash flow, and producing value-led results through a strong team effort is preferred. A dedication to personal development and growth is also key to long-term success in the company and absolutely integral to effectiveness in this role.
