Job Description

We are seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager / Kitchen/Shift Manager Shawnee to join our team! We are seeking quality managers who are energetic team players, with a positive outlook and strong desire to be the best while working withing the systems that are in place. Honesty and integrity are also qualities that we value greatly.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience as a shift leader or manager in the restaurant business.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • All of our managers are working managers. The majority of our managers time is spent standing or walking. All managers are expected to take an active role in the restaurant production, either kitchen, front of house or both, throughout the day.
  • Must be able to lift 40+ Pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to pass a drug test.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all Front of the House and Kitchen activities
  • Guest satisfaction is the responsibility of our shift managers. A manager with a positive outlook will translate to a fun and energetic atmosphere, lifting up the crew in the process. This results in a more positive experience at the store for both our crew and guests.
  • Ensure a high quality of ingredients and food preparation.
  • Train and manage kitchen personnel
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations


The Pay

  • Your rate will be determined by experience and qualifications. Hourly rate with a quarterly profit sharing bonus is our typical pay structure.

Training

  • In order to effectively lead, we expect our managers to be proficient in all areas of the restaurant operations and in all crew tasks. Once Hired, your training will cover Front of the House Guest Relations, kitchen production, daily opening and closing tasks and Manager specific functions.

Primary Daily Job Responsibilities

  • Fill a position in the restaurant FOH or Kitchen during Lunch, Mid Day and Dinner.
  • Maintains close contact with customers to promote the good will and patronage of the restaurant.
  • Insures products are made to company quality standards.
  • Insure the restaurant facility inside and out is clean and orderly
  • Directs activities of employees and other management.
  • Practices good employee relations and communication on a regular basis.
  • Insures that all company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Assures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Help recruit and retain an hourly staff to insure effective operations of the restaurant.
  • Lead or Supervises the training and of employees.
  • Provides the stimulus for motivation of all personnel.
  • Assist the Store manager as needed.
