Child Care Teacher - Full-time / Part-time

Our child care facility is looking for a mature, serious, caring, compassionate child care teacher who has experience caring for children ages six weeks to five years. We are committed to providing top quality care and education for students who are enrolled in our program. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment

Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe

Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning

Work with teachers to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations

High school diploma/GED required

Somechild care experience preferred

Must possess valid CPR and First Aid certifications or willing to get certification

Must be able to get physical before employment

Must be able to pass background check

Must complete mandatory training required by the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services

Caring and compassionate attitude a must

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Background check
• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Available to work: early morning

Preferred qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the education industry
