Leidos is hiring for a Deployment and Training Manager to serve in a key position on a mission-critical program. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills in technology deployment and training to ensure delivery of a premier solution to the customer. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for installation, testing, planning, monitoring, preparation, reporting, maintaining, and sustaining all software and hardware in the current production environment across all sites and the Test & Integration laboratory. 
  • Responsible for planning, development, implementation, and maintenance training: The types of trainings include initial user, new capability, familiarization, and advanced user, field support representatives, and engineers. 
  • Monitor and manage field support representatives (FSR) assigned to sites, oversees the Tier 1 Help Desk, coordinates Tier 2 technical support as required, and facilitates on-site access for Tier 3 support from cross functional teams when needed.
  • Lead effort to design, vet, and implement innovative, targeted training for both system operators and maintainers, to include introduction to, and follow-up with, new hardware and software prior to, during, and post-implementation. 
  • Develop basic troubleshooting steps related to common, expected issues with software functionality exercised by system users. 
  • Develop full range of training documentation, to include syllabi, system architecture explanations and diagrams, analytic workflow and access guides, demonstration videos on new features, and system interaction, and leads training events such as classroom instruction and hands-on practical exercises and evaluations.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Must be able to pass a polygraph.
  • Five years of direct experience and demonstrated leadership responsibilities on at least two large projects or programs utilizing software, network, computer, electrical, electronics, or engineering technology. 
  • Five years experience in DoD acquisition processes specifically related to the software lifecycle management.
Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
