Nurse - Day Shift

Summary:

We are looking for a nurse (RN, LPN, or CNA) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a home setting.

Job Location:

· Washington, Pennsylvania

Job Hours/Days:

· 12-hour shifts

· Fulltime, part-time, and PRN hours are available.

Qualifications:

§ One (1) year of experience working as a nurse in a home setting

§ Current license for an RN, LPN, or CNA in the state of Pennsylvania, Ohio, or West Virginia.

Job Description:

· The nurse (RN, LPN, or CNA) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

· Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

· Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and report changes in conditions.

· Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

· Administers medications multiple times per day

· Cleans tracheotomy of the patient

· Other nursing duties as assigned.

Skills:

· Experience with Tracheotomy

· Experience with GTube (feeding tube)

· Experience with a Hoyer Lift
