Job Description
Summary:
Under the functional direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) will play an crucial part in the hiring process by sourcing, identifying, and hiring candidates who are matches with the organizations’ long-term goals.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, have experience in talent acquisition in an outpatient healthcare setting, and an ability to utilize several sources for recruitment. The candidate will recruit for both credentialed and non-credentialed position openings.
Essential Functions:
1. Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selction criteria
2. Coordinate with hiring managers to create and/or update job descriptions for position openings.
3. Identify and recruit a diverse talent pool of qualified candidates
4. Create and post career ads on various resources (e.g. Indeed, Ziprecruiter, Linkedin, etc)
5. Identify and then request authorization to participate in career fairs, either in person or virtual, in order to build a candidate pipeline.
6. Screen, assign the related assessment, and schedule interviews with interested candidates. May be assigned to attend said interviews.
7. Extend offers of employment to selected applicants.
8. Partner with Director of HR to continually improve the organization’s recruitment strategy.
9. Partner with external recruiters to recruit for more specialized talent.
10. Comply with all federal and state regulations.
11. Attend mandatory training sessions to stay updated with new industry trends and health center policies.
12. Complies with organizational policies and procedures.
13. Performs job duties collaboratively with health center management and exercise good judgment.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- A valid driver’s license in the state of California
- Able to submit proof of clean driving record
Experience:
- 1-2 years of customer service or related experience
- Experience recruiting for medical professionals, including but not limited to MDs, NPs, RNs, LVNs required.
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work unsupervised
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is frequently required to do the following
- Use standard office equipment and access, input, and retrieve information from a computer. Use computer keyboard with manual and finger dexterity and wrist-finger speed sufficient to perform repetitive actions efficiently for extended periods of time.
- Communicate effectively in person or via telephone in a manner which can be understood by those with whom the person is speaking, including a diverse population.
- Give and follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Perform basic arithmetic functions.
- Vision: see details of objects at close range.
- Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Reach forward, up, down, and to the side.
- Remain stationary for minimum periods of one hour at a time and come and go from the work area repeatedly throughout the day.
- Lift up to five (5) pounds. Will occasionally be asked to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Physical requirements associated with setting up booths for job fairs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position. Clinic hours at from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Saturday. Work schedule will be 40 hours weekly within the clinic schedule with occasional approved overtime.
