Electrical Maintenance Technician

*****Industrial Maintenance -- $24-$30 HOURLY*****

• Apply automation skills along with related knowledge in electronics and mechanics to install and troubleshoot circuitry as well as control systems on machinery.
• Troubleshoot, Work on AC & DC Systems up to 480 volts, Work with PLCs, CNCs, and Multi-Access Robots on a daily basis, Analyze, modify, and/or maintain PLC Programs on the existing robots as necessary.
• Perform electrical maintenance on a variety of machines including, but not limited to, lathes, mills, welding and brazing equipment, presses, and automated assembly lines.
• Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems, possess a fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings in order to solve problems in a timely manner.
• Strive to reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing countermeasures aimed at root cause analysis and possess a commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and effective communication skills are also required with a desire and ability to work and communicate as a team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance hands-on experience, two years Post-Secondary Vocational experience, or Technical Education in one or more of the following areas:

Electrical Controls/PLC’s

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Mitsubishi products
• Have the ability to read and interrupt blueprints, schematic, and ladder logic.
• Possess an understanding of electrical matters in a manufacturing setting.
• Have knowledge and experience with electrical equipment: 480/230v 3ph, 110&24 vdc controls, prints and schematics.
