Mechanical Maintenance Technician

*Industrial Maintenance $24-$30 HOURLY

• Troubleshoot, record maintenance repair activities in a computer-based maintenance management system, work with PLCs, CNCs, and Multi-Access Robots on a daily basis, analyze, modify, and/or maintain PLC Programs on the existing robots as necessary.
• Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems and possess a fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings in order to solve problems in a timely manner.
• Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as lathes, mills, welding and brazing equipment, presses, and automated assembly lines.
• All employees must possess a commitment to safety and quality. Strong interpersonal, problem solving and effective communication skills are also required with a desire and ability to work and communicate as a team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance hands-on experience, two years Post-Secondary Vocational experience, or Technical Education in one or more of the following areas:

Electrical Controls/PLC’s

Mechanical Drives

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Mitsubishi products
• Experience working with PLCs, CNCs, and Multi-Access Robots
• Have the ability to read and interrupt blueprints, schematic, and ladder logic.
