Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has expertise in software development within programs and contracts of comparable scope, type, and complexity. Proficiency in key technologies such as Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, REST APIs, web development, database management systems, Linux development, and Eclipse is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions.
Develop and maintain software code in compliance with established coding standards and practices.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
Participate in software testing and debugging activities to ensure high-quality, reliable software.
Analyze and resolve software defects and performance issues as they arise.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI security clearance with FS Polygraph.
10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, or NodeJS.
Experience with REST Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
Experience in web development, including front-end and back-end technologies.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
Proficiency in Database Management Systems such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgresSQL, etc.
Knowledge of Linux development and administration.
Familiarity with Eclipse integrated development environment.
Ability to problem-solve using analytical skills.
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
Professional certifications in relevant technologies.
Experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.
