As a Senior Cloud Operations (Ops) Engineer at Corcentric, you will join an innovative, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will work directly with our Infrastructure and Software Engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and train and guide the organization in Cloud Ops practices. This key position reports to the VP, Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Technology within our Information Technology & Cloud Ops team. We're a dedicated, down-to-earth group in a growing organization offering plenty of opportunity. We look forward to adding you into the mix!

As a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you will:

  • Build HTTP/HTTPS traffic flow for SaaS productions by using AWS Native WAF, ECS, Docker, and NGINX.
  • Build and configure virtual datacenter in Amazon Cloud to support data warehouse, virtual private cloud, Elastic Load Balancer, and Security Groups. Provision Docker, Kubernetes, and implement Continuous Delivery Pipeline with Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
  • Design and deploy AWS Stack with EC2, S3, RDS, Dynamo DB, EFS, SFTP, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Elastic Load Balancers (ELB), and Storage Gateway.
  • Design and implement ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) stack solutions for infrastructure and applications and upgrade Elasticsearch versions.
  • Develop and maintain a Data warehouse in AWS Redshift, designing and evaluating corporate AWS infrastructure.
  • Perform POC (proof of concept) with new AWS services release and integrate/replace within the existing infrastructure for better stability and high availability.
  • Setup Source Version Control like GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
  • Create business plans and templates to deploy new patches on the servers.
  • Setup Cloud Protection Manager (CPM) Veeam with policies for backup and disaster recovery.
  • Create Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Automation Scripts using AWS Command Line Interface (CLI) and Shell Script.
  • Migrate from legacy datacenter onto the AWS infrastructure as service in multiple regions.
  • Provide support and operations for the VMware in the datacenter and AWS in the cloud.
  • Archive and run scripts to move corporate data from different pools on to s3 and Glacier
  • Implement automation using Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
  • Support IaaS, PaaS, and Building SaaS Environment by using Infrastructure as a Code.
  • Create Kubernetes Proof-of-Concepts (POC) and oversee migrations.
  • Deploy and manage microservices using Docker Containers and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker-Swarm.

You'll need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant DevOps or Cloud Ops Engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building HTTP/HTTPS Traffic Flow for SaaS Productions by using AWS Native WAF, ECS, Docker, and NGINX
  • Experience building and configuring Virtual Datacenter in Amazon Cloud to support Data Warehouse, Virtual Private Cloud, Elastic Load Balancer, EC2 and Security Groups
  • Experience provisioning Docker, Kubernetes and implementing Continuous Delivery Pipeline with Git, Jenkins, and Docker
  • Experience designing and implementing ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) stack solutions for infrastructure and applications and upgrading Elasticsearch versions
  • Experience managing microservices like Biztalk, Terraform, EFT, SQL HA, and AWS Migrations.
  • A proven ability to solve problems creatively and overcome hurdles
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences
  • Proficiency with Linux system administration
