The Mother/Baby Unit at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced Postpartum RN to join our team!
Schedule: part-time, night shift with 2 x 12 hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:00am
Sign-On Bonus Information: This position is eligible for a competitive Sign-On Bonus.
The Mother/Baby Unit is committed to provide superior, personalized, and compassionate care to antepartum patients, their newborns, and families. This is a 35 private bed unit providing 24/7 care in a family centered manner. Patients on Mother/Baby are women of childbearing age who are postpartum, their newborns, and undelivered ante partum patients experiencing complications of pregnancy. RNs are assigned up to 4 couplets. The Inova Registered Nurse:

Required Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. Previous experience in Mother/Baby is strongly preferred.

- Proficient computer skills required
Minimum Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start
